Visura catastale and map extract: which one you need

In short

They are two different documents from the same archive. The visura catastale (cadastral record) gives the data of the property and who is registered as its owner: cadastral income, category, area. The map extract gives the geometry: where the boundaries are, drawn. If you need to know how large it is and what income it is assigned, ask for the cadastral record. If you need to know where it is and how far it goes, look at the map.
