How do you take part in a court auction in Lazio?
You submit a bid following the notice of sale for the lot: it states the deadline, the deposit to pay and whether bidding is online or by sealed envelope. On the page of each lot you will find the notice, the expert report and the contact details of the delegated professional.
How far does the price drop if the auction draws no bids?
In Lazio about 38 sales in 100 end without bids. When that happens, the judge can set a new sale attempt at a lower price. It is not a fixed rule and it is not automatic: the actual reduction, attempt by attempt, is recorded in the price history of each lot.
Can I see the property before bidding?
Yes. You ask the custodian named in the notice for a viewing, and the attached expert report usually contains photos, measurements and the cadastral references. For land we show the sheet and parcel on the map, so you can see the boundaries before you travel.
Do I need a lawyer or an agency?
